Md. Tajul Islam completed his LL.B (Hons) and LL.M from Rajshahi University. He has also an advanced Masters in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Dhaka University in collaboration with Virginia State University, USA. Presently he is serving as an Advisor (Advocacy and Capacity Building) of Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST). Mr. Islam has 17 years of experience with BRAC, Nagorik Uddyog, BNWLA, CIDA, UNDP and DFID funded Project CLS on access to justice, gender justice and human rights. He has developed a number of module and curriculum for various levels of learners on Gender Relation Analysis (GRA), Domestic Violence, Child Rights, Human Rights in General, Paralegal, Salish Management, Human Rights Project Management. In addition, he has extensive experience on access to justice and human rights in Bangladesh.
